Applications are open for the professional training program: Professional Training for Croatian Language Teachers: Teaching Croatian as a Foreign Language at the Beginner Level

Driven by social circumstances and a high demand for teachers of Croatian as a second and foreign language, Croaticum – the Center for Croatian as a Second and Foreign Language at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, as part of the Faculty’s lifelong learning offer, has launched a professional training program for teachers of philological studies with a focus on teaching Croatian at the beginner level. This is the first program of its kind in the Republic of Croatia.

Classes start on November 7, 2026, and will be held over four Saturdays in November. You can apply for the program via the application form or the attached QR code. Applications are open until November 1, 2026.
